Soundcamp are an arts cooperative based at Stave Hill Ecological Park in Rotherhithe and Workshop #1 in Loughborough Junction. We work on transmission ecologies from DIY broadcasting devices to public sound and radio projects. As part of the Acoustic Commons network, we coordinate the long-form radio broadcast Reveil (2014—), and a series of sound and ecology events (soundcamps) on Dawn Chorus day each year.

Tiché údolí, part of the Roztocký háj – Tiché údolí nature reserve, is located between Prague and the town of Roztoky.

It is a peaceful natural area where the sounds of birdsong and ambient nature mix with occasional human activity, distant train echoes, and normally also air traffic. However, no aircraft will be heard during the stream, as the main runway (06/24) will be temporarily closed.

A stream from Todmorden's much loved Green Flag public park.  The park's 33 hectares  of  habitat include managed grassland, scrub, wooded slopes, boggy bits and formal memorial gardens.  The space is full of birdlife including robins, wrens, dunnocks, blackbirds, song thrushes, blue tits, coal tits, great tits, chaffinch, nuthatches, black caps, chiff chaffs, gold crest, treecreepers, rooks, carrion crow, jackdaws, wood pigeons and woodpeckers.  The stream is via a Streambox made at a 2023 Calderdale Sound Network eco-radio workshop with Mort Drew from Soundcamp.

The full 24-hour stream composed of hundreds of individual globally dispersed microphones will also be played in the Studio at Kestle with an interactive map highlighting who has listened to what and when…

Kestle Barton will bring its own layer of magic to this event as we rise early on 5th May in time for a deep listening event attending to the different stages of dawn as we move from astronomical, through nautical to civil twilight where the birds wake us up to the world with new ears, new eyes and a new understanding of our being on this planet, near the southern tip of Britain, rotating in a westerly direction at 668mph.
