Artist collective that meets outdoors on an allotment. We seek to open discussion around the unity created from living ‘under one sky’.
We are OUTSIDER an artist collective that includes Pauline Woolley, Val Turton, Mel Kirkham and Julie Moosburg.
We meet at outdors on an allotment in St Anns Nottingham to talk, eat and drink, and make work. Last autumn we embarked on a solargraphy project 'under one sky' using pinhole cameras, set up in various locations and exchanging the solargraph images thus produced, with the thought that, however different our daily lives and experiences may be, we all live them under the same sun rising and setting each day. Thanks to support from Renewal Trust, the Community Gardens at Green's Mill and Science Centre was one of the places we installed cameras and shared the magic of their revealing.

International Dawn Chorus Day with the the sharing of sounds from around from all around the world feels like a sonic counterpart.
