The Sandfly Dawn Chorus starts with one bird that sounds like some Delia Derbyshire's melody. Then add to the symphony Superb Fairywren, Tasmanian Nativehen, Potoroo, Tasmanian Froglet, Bandicoot, Brushtail Possum, Chicken, Tawny Frogmouth, Kookaburra, Rainbow Lorikeet, Pademelon, White or Black Cockatoo, Wallaby, Green Rosella, Tasmanian Forest Raven, Duck, Wedge-tailed or White-bellied Sea Eagle, Swift Parrot, Wattle Bird...and us. We will be a small group of radio art lovers. Pip will show us how to built your own crystal radio, Selena will test her Ecological Haunts, Rahni will bring her telescope and probably make love to the universe. Sleep-over under the tent, radio pyjamas party, kids running around, non-stop breakfast all day, listening to the 24 hour sunrise.
