This is my parent's back garden, they lived together in this house for over thirty years. My mum passed away just before Easter, since then it has brought us comfort to spend time in this garden, where she loved to be.
The house dates back to 1930s, the builder that built the street lived in this house and some of the plants date back to that time; the magnolia tree, pear trees and an apple tree. There are a number of birds who nest in the garden every year, including a pair of magpies in the holly tree, blackbirds, sparrows and wood pigeons.
