This is a stream running on a Raspberry Pi 4GB that has been running almost continuously since 2016. 
Overall, the stream has had less than a week of downtime in that period. 
Using two cheap Behringer XM8500 dynamic microphones in an X/Y configuration on a stereo-bar, you'll hear the sounds of suburbian London. 
Little traffic, but plenty of trains and seagulls oddly. 
Every quarter-hour, the sound of a chiming clock is injected into the stream digitally, to keep track of the passing hours.
