One block from Gare du Midi train station several gardens are boxed in by townhouses, a social centre and some offices. Despite the central location it is an oasis to a variety of wildlife. 

Woodpigeons, carrion crows, magpies, blue jays, blackbirds, starlings, robins, blue tits, dunnocks and nuthatches are some of the species that regularly frequent our garden in Saint-Gilles, Brussels.
