If the conditions are right, this portable streambox will be situated near the ponds of the Natterjack Toads; to be heard at dusk onwards. Otherwise it will be situated across the river, where a fuller, dynamic sound can be heard all day.
Built, run, and supported by RL Wilson, Soundcamp, RE Drift, and Full of Noises as part of the Acoustic Commons network.
Situated on the nature reserve of a sand dune complex, next to the Irish Sea and beneath the highest mountains in Engand; a sound of sounds, an estuary of acoustics resonate. Here lie rare Natterjack Toads audible after dusk. Skylarks, Stonechats, and Crickets, as well as wading birds such as the Oystercatcher and the endagered Curlew all make their home here. Barnacle, Pink-footed and Canada Geese, sheep, cows, bees, and the odd badger, can be heard amongst the passing mainline trains.  As can the toots of the'La'al Ratty 'steam train and the agriclutural machinery, nestled alongside the shells firing from the local military gun range.
