Some-bodies are listening, too

This web-based work brings together multiple listening bodies—a villager, machine, the web, and you. Through live sounds from Georo village, layered with shifting texts and generative visuals, the piece gives voice to both human and non-human listeners. Generative visuals give form to the motion of time and the way memory accumulates like sediment, only to be partially erased. The work explores how listening in real time evokes a unique imagination of time and memory, while questioning about the mediated space in which multiple listening subjects are connected. It invites a renewed experience of listening and a reflection on temporality shaped by the real-time medium.
