This is a wonderful vegetal architecture site up the hill of Florence, which rises in a flat stretch of land, by walking along Via del Bargellino in Fiesole, and then immerse in the splendid unspoiled landscape that extends towards the Mugnone Valley until reaching a grassy clearing. 

The magnificent centuries-old cypress, whose scientific name is Cupressus sempervirens L, features its exceptional quality, remarkable size (16 meters high, with a circumference of three meters), longevity, and landscape value. Its root system develops on the rock, embracing it, and its non-conical crown makes this secular tree unique.
