Soprano pipistrelle bat roost located in a rewilded medieval parkland of a historic house.
Starting at dusk 8:40pm until 9:40pm listen to a live stream of the bats as they emerge from their roost, fly inside the chapel performing pre-emergence flight behaviour before emerging from the chapel by squeezing through a gap at the top of the door and out into the medieval parkland to forage.

A summer maternity roost of soprano pipistrelle bats. The bats roost in the roof of the family chapel and each evening emerge from their roost to fly inside the family chapel of the historic country house performing pre-emergence flight behaviour. The bats then leave the chapel through a gap over the top of the door and out into the medieval parkland to forage on insects. Microphones located inside the chapel to detect the sound of bats wings and audible roost chatter. A bat detector picks up the echolocation calls of the bats at 55kHz.
