Streaming from a medieval gateway in Durham's city wall.

Rasp Pi Streambox using Sony M10 internal mics. Simultaneously making an ambisonic recording.

Situated at the medieval gateway in the castle walls to the south of the City of Durham, known as Watergate or Baileygate. Through the gate is the picturesque Grade 1 listed 'Prebends Bridge'; the attached photo shows the far side of this bridge.

The narrow cobbled lanes should provide an interesting acoustic accompaniment to the dawn chorus. I can't help but imagine what this area might have sounded like after its construction in the 13th Century.
