This location is used to be a "strandbad" - a private lake "beach" with a simple hut selling fries and beer, renting paddle boats and with a playground. However since 2 years the original infra-structure has been put down and slowly a new one, more sophisticated, is being build. Nevertheless, the lake shore is a place of rich natural diversity, specially for Brandenburg standards.
