This stream has been running from this location since the end of 2021. The cityscape is changing very fast around this locality. Construction noise is an unavoidable sound during the day. All the green patches around this housing complex are vanishing fast. This was once a vast marshland. The groundwater is saline; whatever small green patches are left, they are dense green with long grasses. So we still hear a lot of frogs, insects, and crickets during the night, particularly if there is rain. This time of the year is the time for summer storms, and the temperature drops dramatically after the storm. When a storm hits, followed by rain in the evening, sometimes it sounds like a dense forest because of the insects'/crickets' chorus. Though the stream location is not very far from the main road, the traffic sound is quite low, probably because of the dense constructions all around. Human voices, domestic sounds are quite prominent in the stream.
