This site is located next to a cottage on the edge of a mixed coniferous and deciduous forest and is quite well shielded from anthropogenic sound. Its soundscape features rustling leaves, songs of all kinds of birds including birds of prey, chirping crickets and other insects, running water from a nearby creek and other sounds. A train whistle and other trains sounds can occasionally be heard from a distance.
