Live stream from nearby the Mustarinda House, Kainuu, Finland. Situated on the second highest summit in the Kainuu region, an area of thick forest and adjacent to the north-east edge of the Paljakka Strict Nature Reserve where some of the oldest of the Spruce are up to 400 years old.
The forest is largely made up of Norwegian Spruce, Birch and Alder tree species with berry species occurring on the forest floor and extensive lichen and moss species. Mustarinda is an arts organisation and residency programme. At its centre lies contemporary art, boundary-crossing research, practical experimentation, communication, education and events, all reaching towards a post-fossil culture by combining scientific knowledge and experiential artistic activity.
