The allotment is sided by a vast planned (man-made) nature area that suffers from excessive nitrogen deposit. Undergrowth is boring, mostly brambles and nettles. By contrast the allotment itself is quite wild and very bio diverse. It functions as a refugium for plants and animals who do not stand a chance in the surrounding areas dominated by human infrastructure, agro-industrial desertification and urbanisation.
