Plaka, Athens, Greece
In Plaka, a neighborhood in Athens underneath the Acropolis hill - the only place in town that cars are not allowed- bird sounds and church bells invade the top floor of an empty 5 story building. As the sounds of dawn fill the space, 108 clocks are being wound up, one after the other, and are placed in different resonant spaces. Their sound is added to the soundscape until all clocks are wound and an asynchronous score is created.
