Listening at dawn is always a delight. In addition to the birds which could include less spotted woodpecker, the are often squirrels scrambling in the willow trees which make a rustling sound. All accompanied by a hum of traffic but hopefully not much. The site is next to the East Midlands Airport and in sime weather conditions, there may be planes directly overhead. The collaborator is Mik Hobson, a musician who will share these listening hours.
