The Forest Theatre is located twenty minutes from my house. This place is situated in a small gorge of the Jaśkowa Dolina forest park and is equipped as a theatrical stage. Looking at the grand platform, which from afar resembles an ancient temple, I imagine what performances can be staged here—funny and whimsical, tragic and scary. Although, perhaps, I love this theater more for the birdsong, the creaking of old branches, the wind, the people who come here to meditate, read, play with children, kiss, listen to something on their headphones.

It's interesting how we choose "our" places? What do we bring to them? Like in the song by Ivasyuk, where the hero brings his sadness to the sea, but takes it back, not wanting to sadden the dreamy, smiling, or crying sea.

And I, too, bring something to the forest theater, and take something back for myself.
