Our song ‘Dawn’ plays quietly on a speaker inside Crosbie’s house in Highgate. We head toward East Perth Train Station where tall white gums and Peppermint Trees shade warehouses and disused plots. Rainbow Lorrikeets, Wardong, Bronze Wings and Magpies guide our walk toward the corner of Gladstone Street and Murchison Terrace. Traffic can be heard in the distance where the Freeway crosses the Derbal Yerrigan.
