Sound Art Brighton is one of five sound organisations from Brighton who collaborate in the Ecomusicology Project at Stanmer Organics.
The carefully cultivated and rewilded plots contain crops, woodland, orchards, grasslands and hedgerows, bordering on a larger farm with horses and sheep. Birdsong is prevalent and one can hear goldfinch, greenfinch, blackcap, wren, blackbird, and wood pigeon, to name but a few. And in the distance, the ever-present traffic of the A27 main road.
