Sheltered from the busy M6 motorway by Farleton Knott and Hutton Roof Crags. Recorded by local sound artists and musicians Wayne Scurrah, Dan Cropper and Tiiva Etherington.

European Robin, Eurasian Wren, Eurasian Blackbird, Song Thrush, Common Chaffinch, European Goldfinch, European Greenfinch, Eurasian Blue tit, Great tit, Coal tit, Marsh tit, Long-tailed tit, Eurasian Blackcap, Eurasian Nuthatch, Eurasian Jay, Common Woodpigeon, Common Buzzard, Eurasian Curlew, Common Pheasant, European Herring gull. You may also hear local farming activities and rumbling stomachs... The live broadcast will be from a stereo condenser microphone, with a full recording taken for posterity from 2 x C414 microphones placed in a wide stereo position to capture the full ambience of the early morning woodland. |
