We stream live from this isolated and panoramic woodland area in Tuscan Apennines, Northern Florence, up to 817metres, in order to listen wild natural sounds, probably rapacious, woodpeckers, great tits, wind, and who knows what.      
About 20 km far from Florence, a religious sanctuary from 13th century is located in this beautiful site with deep forests of fir, beech, pine and chestnut trees. The sanctuary is composed of a church, three chapels and a convent. Nearby there are also natural caverns where seven founding fathers lived, and a stone temple erected in 1629 where pilgrims drew waters to receive the saint’s protection. 

At the foot of the hill and convent, stands a rural cylindrical architecture, called 'ghiacciaia', built between 1842 and 1844 which was the largest ice house in Europe at that time. The ice house was used to store precious ice by the seven fathers, also its cylindrical shape favoured temperature conservation. We set up an audio stream from this area full of history, spirituality and wild nature using different types of microphones such as binaural and piezos.
