Kozmické ptačí louky, curated by Magdaléna Manderlová and Michal Kindernay, is a long-term project that listens to the transformations of the soundscapes of the Opava River and its living floodplains. The Kozmice meadows, one of the last two floodplain areas, stand here as a fragile memory of water and as testimony to a landscape that can breathe together with the river. During the 2025 gathering at Háj ve Slezsku, Opava region, CZ, Udo Noll has created a solar powered live listening station in the heart of the meadows.

This autonomous, solar-powered device not only raises awareness of the place, but also functions as a participatory and critical listening device to the current state of the world. How can we understand the very act of listening—and what kinds of responsibilities does it bring? What kind of sensitivity is needed for such listening?
