Diogo, Filipa, João, Miguel and Tomás are musicians and sound workers from Alentejo, a southern region of Portugal known for its vast planes covered in cork oak trees. The exact site of the stream is near the reservoir of a small dam, there are dense cork oak woods all around, the area is rife with birds, fish and the occasional farm animal can be heard, there are farmlands further away and an access road to the reservoir. Today by chance, here in between the fish the birds and the insects a group of happy sounding Ukrainians can be heard camping close to the recording site, there are some fishermen in the distance as well.
