From a balcony in the village of Lin, located in the Municipality of Pogradec, overlooking Lake Ohrid. Streaming with an Audio-Technica BP4025.  
Lake Ohrid, spanning the border between Albania and Macedonia, is one of the world's oldest lakes, at roughly 1.3 million years old. It reaches depths of up to 288 metres and is home to more than 200 endemic species found nowhere else on Earth. 

Lin is a lakeside village situated on the western shore of Lake Ohrid, within the Ohrid-Prespa Transboundary Biosphere Reserve. It is recognised as one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in Europe, and was a crucial hub for the spread of early agriculture into Europe.

Listen to the gentle lull of these primordial waters, accompanied by the sonorous voices of its avian inhabitants. Just this morning I've seen and heard Dalmatian Pelicans, Pygmy Cormorants, Hooded Crows, Swallows, Swifts, Wagtails, fishing boats, and a curious child! To name a few... What can you hear?
